Our Team

Paul is Founder & CEO at MAP Investco. He also serves as Executive Chairman at AutoCanada (TSX:ACQ), a large publicly traded automotive dealership group in Canada and sits on the board of OEConnection, a multinational automotive software company.

Prior to his current roles, Paul was the Founder, Chairman & CEO at CARPROOF, a North American software and data company. Under Paul’s leadership, CARPROOF grew rapidly, earning a regular spot on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists, as well as the distinction of being named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 2011 through 2015. After over a decade of operations without any outside capital, Paul led the sale of a minority stake in CARPROOF to San Francisco-based private equity firm Hellman & Friedman in late 2013. This was followed by the ultimate sale of CARPROOF to IHS Markit in December 2015.

Paul is a native of London, Ontario and is from a family with a strong history in the automobile industry dating back to 1938.

Jasson is a Managing Partner at MAP Investco and leads day-to-day operations for the firm.  Prior to MAP, Jasson spent nearly 20 years as a technology- and software-focused investment banker, most recently at UBS Securities where he led the bank’s software investment banking practice. Jasson has advised on over 100 transactions in his career, frequently advising founder-led teams as they considered alternatives ranging from a capital raise to a sale of the business.  It was through these efforts that Jasson first met Paul, successfully working together to sell a minority stake in CARPROOF to San Francisco-based private equity firm Hellman & Friendman in 2013.

Jasson is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and currently resides there with his family.

Albert is General Counsel for MAP Investco and oversees all legal matters, as well as various facets of the firm’s operations. Prior to joining MAP, Albert worked with CARPROOF Corporation as General Counsel of the company, where he led and managed all legal-related matters and strategies.  Albert was also previously an Associate in the Technology Law Practice of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in Toronto, ON, where he advised clients in the information and technology industries on various corporate and commercial matters.

Albert is a native of Toronto, Ontario, and currently resides in London, Ontario with his wife.

Geoff is SVP, Finance at MAP Investco and oversees all financial matters, as well as various facets of the firm’s operation. Prior to MAP, Geoff worked worked CARPROOF Corporation where he built-out their financial reporting and analytics capabilities.  He also provided insight and information on both the minority sale & ultimate sale of the organization in 2013 and 2015 respectively.  After leaving CARPROOF and prior to joining MAP, Geoff held the position of Controller for the Heavy Equipment and Canadian Operations at the publicly traded software company, CDK Global.

Geoff is a native of London, ON, and has a bachelors degree from the University of Western Ontario and a CPA, CMA Designation.

David is a London, Ontario based entrepreneur, formerly CFO at MAP, who consults with the organization on various projects.

Prior to working as CFO at MAP Investco for the last 10 years, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Frontline Technologies (Formerly Belzberg Technologies), a publicly-traded financial services software firm (out of Toronto, ON).  

 Dr. Arntfield is an intensivist and traumatologist at Western University where he also serves as the medical director of London Health Sciences Centre’s Critical Care Trauma Centre. He is co-author of the textbook: Point-of-Care Ultrasound and is director of the critical care ultrasound program at Western University.  

Rob consults in the healthcare space for larger OEMs as well as start-ups and even television shows.  With a focus on healthcare innovation and disruption, Rob's role with MAP is dedicated toward the growth of health and tech sector investment opportunities.

Tony Bidner is a seasoned technology leader and software architect specializing in product engineering, SaaS platform development, and cloud architecture. He currently consults for several organizations on digital transformation and software strategy initiatives while also building his own startup ventures in the automotive technology space.

Previously, Tony served as Director of Product Engineering & Development at OEConnection (OEC) and Vice President of Technology & Development at MAP Investco, where he continues to advise on strategic projects. Earlier in his career, Tony was Director of Architecture at CARPROOF Corporation, overseeing the company’s software architecture, development, and quality assurance teams through a period of rapid growth and innovation.

With over a decade of experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and delivering enterprise-grade SaaS solutions, Tony brings a unique mix of technical depth, product vision, and business acumen to every engagement.
